Tripax celebrated its 50th Birthday on the 17th of September with a dinner held at a winery in Wandin Victoria.
On the 17th of September 1959 a company called Whitehorse Drive Thru Grocery was registered. On the 9th of July 1963 its name was changed to Tripax Engineering Co Pty Ltd.
The company then was situated in Bridge Road Richmond, Melbourne. They were general engineers but quickly became involved in designing and manufacturing for the Food Industry.
In 1969 the company moved to Weir Street in Glen Iris and rebadged itself as manufacturers to the food industry. Outgrowing these premises the company moved once more in 1979 to Barry Street Bayswater. Later years saw the purchase of two adjoining factories to give the manufacturing premises of today.
Tripax today has four design engineers, sales & marketing departments and production/manufacturing facililties. With more than 45 years in design and manufacture of specialised and customised machinery, Tripax is forging a future in the very fast paced and constantly changing world of industrial food processing machinery
