Waste treatment

Used for filtration of waste water from food processing machinery.

The water is led into a weir and then spills over either side of the weir and down onto the inside of a rotating wedge wire screen.

The screen is situated on four trunnions driven by an electrical motor.

The water will drain through the wedge wire, whereas solids tumble around on the inside of the screen and are carried out through the end of the drum by means of flights welded to the inner surface of the screen.
